This update to Board Policy BF (Local) streamlines language around legally referenced policies by removing references to them being "not adopted by the Board" and eliminating the instruction to read legal and local policies together, while also removing the requirement that policy amendments be generally recommended by the Superintendent. The section heading "TASB Localized Policy Updates" is updated and the phrase "of legally referenced policies" is removed from the post-adoption incorporation language.
