Meeting notesThis update creates a new "Parental Engagement" section in Policy FA (Local) for Conroe ISD, adding three new provisions: an online portal for parents to submit comments to administrators and the Board, a requirement that enrolled parents be allowed to speak first during the citizenship participation portion of board meetings, and a requirement that board meetings be held outside of regular business hours.

- Parents of students enrolled in the District may submit comments to campus or District administrators and the Board of Trustees through an online portal made available on the District's website.
- Parents of students currently enrolled in the District shall be allowed to speak first during the citizenship participation portion of any public board meeting [See BED.]. The District shall make provision to ensure that parents are identified.
