This revision to Policy FD (LOCAL) – Admissions adds a new "Students Not Enrolled" section explicitly prohibiting students enrolled in private schools (including homeschools) from concurrent enrollment in the District or participation in curricular or extracurricular activities, in response to SB 401 which would otherwise require districts to allow non-enrolled students to participate in UIL activities.

Added

  • Students Not Enrolled section: A student enrolled in a private school, including a homeschool, shall not be eligible for concurrent enrollment in the District nor for participation in curricular or extracurricular activities. [See EEL and FM]
